Contemporary library(Pasir ris)

2015 Nov 28, Contemporary form of community library has opened in the mall, ‘Pasir ris’.

The design theme of this library is “Clouds of Possibility”.  As the theme, the design inside library allows people to be open-minded in the library to expolre their possibility.

One of the element that help people more active is that there are many chairs of various heights and different types of chairs to support people’s various postures.

The atmosphere might trigger people to be more curious and excited about their reading materials.

Interestingly some part of the library which is of teens section, is run by teenagers in the community. they are organizing  Hangout Sessions in the Mezzanine, so that participants can speak to the members about the recommended book.
